Nadine and Marie, two German students, both completed a four-week Erasmus+ internship through Sandson at E-Commerce Park in Helsingborg. During their internship, they worked on the company's website, newsletters, LinkedIn content, and event coordination. Here, they share their experiences.
Why did you choose to do your internship in Sweden?
Nadine: Although I had never visited Sweden before, I was drawn to the nature and was curious about the people.
Marie: For me, the nature was also a big attraction, as well as the Swedish culture, which that I wanted to learn more about.
Tell us a little bit about your employer, E-Commerce Park, and your work there.
Marie: E-Commerce Park, founded in 2014, is an e-commerce community based in Helsingborg, Sweden's leading region for e-commerce. Its mission is to strengthen the Swedish e-commerce ecosystem and support the growth of e-commerce companies. It does so by offering a range of educational programs and events tailored to the e-commerce industry.
Nadine: During our internship, we worked on the company's website, drafted newsletters, wrote content for LinkedIn, and assisted with event coordination.
What was your best memory?
Marie: Meeting people and attending two events on behalf of E-Commerce Park were definitely highlights.
Nadine: I agree with Marie! Life outside of the internship was also very eventful. We went to an ice hockey and, during our short period of time, explored nearby cities such as Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Ystad, Helsingör, and Kristianstad.
What did you learn during your time at E-Commerce Park and in Sweden?
Marie: My English improved significantly, and I feel much for confident speaking the language now.
Nadine: Same here! I also grew socially and gained confidence interacting with others.
