This is Camille, a French student from Clermont-Ferrand, who completed a six-month Erasmus+ internship through Sandson. With a background in business administration, strong market-analysis skills, and a hands-on attitude, she was the perfect fit for a work placement at the start-up Eventulator in Malmö, Sweden.

Why did you choose to do your internship in Sweden?

There were several reasons, but I was especially drawn to the calm atmosphere and the nature.

Tell us a little bit about your employer, Eventulator, and your work there.

Eventulator helps event and community organisers create, manage, and run their events in a smoother, more engaging, and data-driven way. The company is a true start-up. It was founded in April 2025, and I joined the following month. This meant that I experienced the company’s first six months and worked hands-on with everything that needed to be done. My employer particularly valued the market research I conducted and was responsible for, as well as my work on developing the company’s strategy. Eventulator is based at Minc, a co-working space for start-ups, so I worked alongside many interesting people and organisations.

What was your best memory?

I have many great memories from my time in Sweden, but if I have to choose one, it would be the events I attended on behalf of Eventulator. I joined a Women in Tech organisation in Malmö and am now planning to start a similar organisation in my home region in France.

Any advice for future Erasmus+ interns?

Travel as much as your time and budget allow as it will enrich your stay. During my short period in Sweden, I visited Smögen, Helsingborg, Helsingör, Gothenburg, Landskrona, Ystad, Stockholm and Luleå.

Was your time in Sweden and at Eventulator as expected?

It was better than expected! The past six months have been a steep learning curve, and I have grown tremendously, both professionally and personally.
